Livant Health Access administers financial support to qualified individuals. Our funds are provided through grants with guidelines on who qualifies for assistance and how funds are distributed.

Livant issues checks once per month, usually around the 20th, to cover the employee’s portion of the current month’s premiums. Livant calculates and pays the employee’s portion of the average monthly premium amount, and it is the employee’s responsibility to inform us of any changes in premium.
We understand that this subsidy may seem difficult to incorporate into your system. Here are three examples of how other employers have been able to accommodate their employee’s participation in the community assistance program, but we are willing to incorporate another solution if it is more amenable for your company.
● Continue the deduction from the employee’s paycheck and then credit the employee back once our check is received.
● Stop all health insurance deductions from the employee’s paycheck, utilizing our check for the employee portion.
● Continue the deduction from the employee’s paycheck and then endorse the monthly check from Livant to your company over to the employee.

If you are an EMPLOYEE receiving financial assistance, please make sure any paperwork we have requested has been submitted to your representative in a timely manner. If there are changes to your policy, including but not limited to: premium amount, deductible, or if your policy changes during open enrollment, please contact your representative as soon as possible. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact your representative.
This program can pay for a qualified employee’s portion of medical insurance premiums if your company is willing to work with our program. Per the guidelines of the program, the check from Livant cannot be made out to the client directly; rather it must be made out to an insurance company or the client’s employer.

We do not accept outside referrals. Qualified individuals will be notified of their ability to get financial assistance. Please do not contact us regarding assistance if you have not received an Employer Participation Letter.
